Accommodations for Worshipers
Rest room facilities are on the lower level and are equipped with changing tables. A Cry Room is now available downstairs in the Social Hall for families or individuals who find a need to leave the nave during worship. There is a speaker in the middle classroom on the south side of the Social Hall; you will be able to hear the service from there. Children’s Liturgy of the Word: All children between the ages of 3 and 8 may participate in the Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 10:45 AM service. The children are invited to come to the front of the nave after the Prayer of the Day. Following the Crucifer, they process to the Sunday School worship area downstairs with an adult teacher and an assistant. The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a part of liturgy designed to help the children better understand the Gospel for the day as it is presented in “kid terms.” Singing, prayer and an activity are also included, and support materials entitled “Taking Faith Home” are sent with the children to share with their families throughout the week. The Crucifer leads the children and teachers back to the Sanctuary at the Offertory so that they may participate in the Communion liturgy with their families. |
